GITEX 2021 and Expo 2020: CodeIT among elected representatives from Serbia

On October 1st, Serbia opened a pavilion as a part of the world exhibition “Expo 2020 Dubai”. The show will last until March 31st next year, and our country performance will take place under the slogan “Serbia creates ideas: Inspired by the past, shaping the future.”

This year, Serbia will present itself in the largest pavilion so far. Specially built for this occasion, the pavilion will cover incredible 2,000 square meters. It is located in the center of the thematic unit “Mobility.”

Thanks to “metahuman” technology and artificial intelligence, a man who lived in the Lepena Whirlpool, 10,000 years ago will “revive” in the virtual world and visitors will be able to communicate with him.

The exhibition consists of 10 thematic weeks, and CodeIT and its team will participate in the “Space week” from 17th to October 23rd.

Serbia and CodeIT at GITEX

As part of the bigger presentation at the exhibition “Expo 2020 Dubai”, our companies will take part at GITEX too. GITEX, the most significant technology event of the year, will also take place in Dubai at their World Trade Centre between October 17th and October 21st.

Since this is the first event that people will visit since the pandemic began, even the world’s largest tech giants – Microsoft, Dell, IBM, Du, Etisalat, Lenovo, Huawei – have confirmed their participation.

Participants come from 70 different countries; 685 speakers will speak a total of 397 hours live. This year, GITEX will have a total of 6 subcategories/events – Ai Everything, Fintech Surge , Future Blockchain Summit, GITEX Future Stars, Marketing Mania i Gitex technology.

Serbia will perform under the slogan “Serbia creates tech.” A total of 16 of our companies, including CodeIT, will present themselves at the 90m2 stand.
